Woodfire kitchen & bar · The Street, 55 Boylston St, Chestnut Hill · Since 2020
A modern, everyday restaurant with the polish of the o ya kitchen: fresh pasta made by hand, bread pulled from the oven and a dining room built for every occasion.
Why it exists
One room for every hour of the neighborhood.
Suburban centers need a restaurant that works all day: lunch between errands, a family dinner, a bar seat on a Thursday, a birthday in the private room. Bianca was built for that range in one room, and the wood-fired grill gives it a signature without narrowing the menu.
It feels like a getaway: white stucco, a skylight, green leather booths and a retro Palm Springs palette. The bar takes walk-ins, the patio fills in summer, and the menu has something for the table that eats everything and the one that does not.
It opened during COVID with no grand opening. Today it is the fastest-growing unit in the group.
